Glam Ur Ink!

We're launching the hottest thing to hit the west coast! We'd like to introduce to you, Glam Ur Ink! Have a tattoo? Don't cover it up to go to a special event or wedding! Dress up your tat to go to the club, go on a date, or just to get attention! You've thought about what art you'd like to display forever...now show it off!

What is Glam Ur Ink?!
It's a glitter tattoo and it lasts 7-10 days! So go ahead...shower, change clothes, wear it day and night for several days! It looks amazing in the sun, and accents your ink at night! Big or small, our goal is not to cover up your art but to accent and draw attention to it! Add Swarovski crystals along with the glitter tattoos to add more sparkle!

Featured in our shoot, are dresses from Dolly Couture in LA (www.dollycouture.com). We worked with 2 of the best photographer in the wedding business: Eric Hedman (www.ewhphoto.com) and James Hong (www.perpixelphoto.com)...these guys are so unique and have such a wonderful eye for all things beautiful. I love how Eric uses everything around him to create lighting, and ambiance to every photo with detail to accentuating the beauty in every shot. James has an eye for bringing nature to life as a frame around his subject. You can't help but feel comfortable around him, and he manages to pull out the most natural smile from each model. I loved watching both photographers take their passion and turn it into an art form.

So show off! We guarantee people will be talking everywhere you go!

Lana: "I went to a few of Marzette's make up classes and loved them! She's so helpful and sweet and makes the classes personal to the make up you already have and suggests some great new products!"

Mariah: "I went to The Wow factor's makeup class, I learned the proper colors to wear on my face, how to apply my blush and how to make my cheeks highlighted and darker. I learned that makeup is an illusion, and different makeup looks (light lip with dark eye, etc), what makeup looks are good for school/weekends, and how to apply eye makeup according to the shape of my little beady eyes. I can't wait to go to another class! I'm bringing friends next time!"

Cindy: "I recently went to The Wow Factor's, bring your own makeup class, I wasn't sure what to expect or what even I would be able to take from it. I soon realized that with a few tips, in a class like this, I could do my own makeup with what I ALREADY had, and have it look like a professional did it. I would highly recommend anybody to come attend these classes! It will be well worth your time!"

Hope to see you there!

Live Life with an Exclamation!

Photobucket

What is the exclamation all about? Life is too short to regret, to become the best person...inside and out...that you can be, to wait to tell those around you what you really admire about them. How far does it go when someone tells you how much they think of you, or something you did that made their day? ...And how long did that take? How much effort? Not much and yet how often do we do it? What really makes someone beautiful? There's plenty of things that we can do to make our outside appearances look flawless, but if we're not a happy and beautiful person on the inside do we leave a lasting good impression? Probably not. So, share a smile, compliment someone random, call a friend you haven't talked to in a while, or actually sit down and write a note to someone close to you. That's what going the extra mile to Life Life with an Exclamation is all about.

Shading like a Pro...in no time!

Want to know how the Pros make everyone look picture perfect and flawless? Shading. Makeup is all about illusion. For easy, everyday foundation shading... I buy 2 colors of foundation. One that is close to my untanned skin color, and one that is close to my tanned skin color. Then as my skin gets lighter or darker, I mix accordingly. Also when getting ready to go out, I mix a little light color into the darker color and blend all over my neck and around the edges of my face and lower half of my cheeks. Then I take the lighter color for my nose, on and under eyes, and "t" zone. That gives me the illusion of shading without dramatic raccoon eyes. It also helps if your wanting to give the appearance of a thinner face/neck (double chin/ soft chin). By using darker colors under your chin and under your cheeks you give the appearance of a more chizzled face or features. Light colors bring features out, dark colors draw features in.

Feel like your nose is too wide, or have a big forehead? Shade. Put the darker foundation on the sides of your nose, or on the tip of your nose if it's too long, and blend. For your forehead, apply the darker foundation from hairline down, to keep from drawing attention to it. Use these basic principles to minimize and maximize your assets, and feel more comfortable taking photos or wearing makeup!

Mascara of the Month!!!

Photobucket
If you haven't done so, you need to check out "L'Oreal's Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara".  Why?  First of all, it has my personal favorite...a primer on one end with the mascara on the other.  ...But this isn't like any other mascara you've ever tried!  It tubes your lashes.  You heard me right!

How do you use it?
You use the white side first...the lash primer.  Unless your lashes are thick and long naturally (and very few of us have those kind of lashes), put on the white primer like you would your normal mascara.  1-2 coats should be enough.  Then use step 2, the black mascara and apply over your "primed" lashes, I usually use another 1-2 coats.

What's so big about it?
It won't smear, flake or run like normal mascara.  It tubes your lashes, so when you get ready to remove it, it almost looks like your lashes are coming out...but they're not, it's just the tubed mascara.  It takes light pressure and water to remove.  I wouldn't say it's water-proof, unless your careful...more water resistant...but at least if you do happen to cry, it won't run or smear down your face or around your eyes!

Check it out, and let me know what you think!
